Cannot reply to Subscriber's posts.

I logged in to BlueGate and looked at one of Angela's posts in her subscriber forum.
There was no reply button for me to reply to it.
I logged out and looked at Angela's post: There was a REPLY button.
But when I clicked it, it asked me to log in.
I logged in and ... it told me I couldn't post to this forum!
I think something is wrong.

Mick
The general rule for subscriber's forums is that:
ONLY the owning subscriber can create topics and make posting to his/her forum.
Everyone else can read the forum and cannot create a topic or post a reply.

I've checked the permissions which enforce these rules on Angela's forum and they are correct.

I'm going to assume your persona, don't worry it won't hurt, and double check your access by repeating your experience. If I can I'll report back here and fix the bug.

Umm.... sorry but I can't replicate your experience, everything appears to work as it should. I suggest we try this together sometime from my laptop when we have internet access.

It works like you say it should.
Angela asked a question in her forum, so I was expecting to be able to reply to it.
Moral of story: Don't ask questions in your forum, just tell people stuff.
This fits with the rules you described.
-----------------------------------------------
Bottom line: no problem => no action required.

Mick

Thank you very much for your efforts. I didn't know not to post questions to the forum. I'm still learning, but now I know.

All the best
